Twinning & friendship visits:
We're now planning our informal exchange visit to Warstein for the 19th to the 21st October. We've booked our flights with Eurowings for Friday 19th and Monday 22nd. Contact us for further details.
The HBTS Annual New Year meal took place at the Rim Nam, Hebden Bridge on Sunday 29th January. A most enjoyable time was had by all!
A slightly damp day on June 10th 2017 did not dampen our spirits at the 2017 Midgley Fete. We raised £90 and welcomed Mayor Pat Fraser to our stall in the course of the day.
The Blackshaw Head Fete on Saturday 2nd September 2017 was great fun and raised £100 for the HBTS. Unlike last year the sun shone all day.....
We had a wonderful time with our friends from Warstein and St Pol when they visited us from the 19th/22nd October for the 2017 informal Warstein visit. Click here for the Press Release for the visit.
The snow didn't stop the HBTS gig at the Trades Club on the 2nd March! Everyone had lots of fun and we still raised £190 for twunning activities.
The Blackshawhead Fête will be on the 1st September. Itwill include tombola - so please let us have any unwanted gifts for prizes! Anyone free to assist on the day should contact Eleanor Ross or Mike Edwards.
The Mytholmroyd Gala on the 7th July was great. Fund raising was cut short by a certain football match - but it was a lovely day.
Maureen Dean's cream tea on Sunday 5th August was enjoyed by everyone. It also raised over £70 for the HBTS.
