Summer Camp in Paratico 2018.
The Summer camp in Paratico from the 27th August to the 9th September was a great opportunity for strenghthening our friendship with Paratico in Italy. Kalifa Cuben, George English Burns & Erin Yates (from last year) travelled with Jane Jackson to teach the local children English. Kalifa, George and Erin were great representatives for Calder High and made an excellent impression.
A small delegation from our friendship town Paratico in Italy visited us at the beginning of June. They held a number of meetings in Hebden Bridge, with an especially helpful one with Mayor Carol Stow.

Fund raising & other events
HBTS gig from 20:30 at the Trades Club on the 2nd March 2018
The Blackshawhead Fête was on the 1st September 2018. The weather was fine, £92 raised and we talked to people about twinning.
Zefr headed the bill supported by Terry Logan with Chris Manley plus The Creedy and the Colour. Click here for the flyer. Because of the snow not everyone made it to the event, but we certainly appreciated those who did!
