Our twin towns with full civic links to Hebden Royd Town Council

St Pol sur Ternoise

St Pol is located to the south east pf Calais between Arras and Montreuil . It was Hebden Royd's first twin town with the twinning initiated  in 1979. Links between the two towns have deveioped very fruitfully ever since. 

Warstein

Warstein twinned with Hebden Royd in 1995. Set in the rolling hills and forests of the Sauerland between Dortmund and Kassel it is similar in size and setting to Hebden Royd

Our friendship towns with a sustained or developing friendship with the Hebden Bridge area but not a formal link

Blatna (Czech Republic

Blatna is located in the south west of the Czech Republic. They are twinned with Calderdale via Strakonice, and Hebden Bridge have been linked with them since the 1990s.

Paratico (Italy)

Paratico is situated on lake Iseo  in the Italian Lakes. Friendly contacts started in 2015. Students from Hebden Bridge have been visiting Paratico since 2017 to assist in their language school, but sadly this stopped in the lockdown.

Pietrapaola (Italy)

Pietrapaola is situated in Calabria on the Adriatic coast. Friendship links developed when they became a twin town of Warstein.
